Is there a Ring app for Apple TV?
Ring doesn’t publish one. Video Wall is the app that fills that gap — you install it from the App Store on the Apple TV itself, sign in with your Ring account, and every camera appears.
Which Apple TV models does it work on?
Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K, running tvOS 17 or later — every model Apple still supports. The 4K is the one to get if you’re buying: it’s the fastest box any of the four platforms run on, so it holds the most cameras smoothly. The 2nd and 3rd generation boxes can’t install apps at all, so nothing runs on those.
Do I need HomeKit, Homebridge or a Mac?
None of them. Video Wall connects straight to your Ring account, so there’s no bridge to configure, no HomeKit accessory to add, and nothing else in your house that has to stay switched on.
Can I just AirPlay my Ring cameras instead?
You can mirror an iPhone or Mac to the Apple TV, and for one quick look it works. It’s one camera, it occupies the device you’re mirroring, and it ends the moment that device sleeps — so it isn’t something you can leave up.
